Artist feature from UICA: Patrick Ethen

Patrick Ethen is a Detroit artist whose work is an exploration of light, motion, color, and pattern. Ethen's works will be on view at UICA as part of Color of the Year Presented by Pantone and X-Rite Apr 6 – Jul 29, 2018.

Boom goes the dynamite! On Friday, March 10th, Bamford performed two stand-up sets at Wealthy Theatre, as part of LaughFest. I attended the first, which was sold out.

Michael Pfleghaar received his MFA in visual arts from Lesley University College of Art and Design in 2011. Modernist design objects, architecture, and interiors inspire Pfleghaar’s colorful abstract paintings and constructions.

Vault of Midnight's "small and local press" section gives local artists exposure and a chance to grow.

Artist feature from UICA: Jordan Gaza

Jordan Gaza graduated from Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University's Illustration program in 2016 and has been living in Grand Rapids ever since. Primarily working digitally and with gouache paint, Gaza's illustrations are both vulnerable and sincere.
