We build community when we share our stories - whether they be a memory, an experience or just simply telling what we think is great about this place. STORY MATTERS. is a story collecting project from The Rapidian and GRTV.

Lynne Hartzel and Antonio Gallegos, who live in Chicago, talk about why they think of Grand Rapids as "little Chicago" and love spending time here. They say their favorite parts of Grand Rapids include the foodie scene, diversity and the energy they find in our city. Hartzel says her office here in Grand Rapids finds great creative talent, and the couple loves introducing people from around the country to the city.
