"God bless America!"

Patriotically, we say this often but still overlook one of His many blessings called veterans – the men and women who, without regard, defend this country, our freedom and rights to live freely in this…"one Nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

On Veterans Day, November 11, 2016, a city-wide white out has been planned as a simple act of unified thanks and honor. Everywhere a veteran looks, we want them to see someone wearing one of two custom designs created intentionally to honor them, thus creating the #WhiteOut4Vets. Ninety percent of the proceeds from the #WhiteOut4Vets fundraiser will be donated to the Community Rebuilders Kent Zero 2016 program to end veteran homelessness and to the West Michigan Veterans Assistance Program, "No Veteran Left Behind," to assist veterans with their basic daily needs. Both agencies are non-profits and the remaining 10 percent is slated for expenses.

The #WhiteOut4Vets was created and organized by Blair Unlimited Media Productions as part of its Temple Renovations Initiative. The mission of Temple Renovations by Blair Unlimited is to make gradual changes for permanent results; which also supports the Media Productions goal to impact and maximize the small business through media.

Veteran lives are a salute to America and the American people. Courageous individuals join the Armed Forces subjecting themselves to rigorous, life altering mental and physical training to run directly into treacherous, unimaginably dangerous and harmful conditions and situations. Why? Because they want to make a difference, defend, honor, and serve their country, and fight for rights, freedoms and luxuries many of us take for granted.

Today, because of their sacrifices, you and I can live freely. Veterans, we salute you back!

To salute our Veterans back by participating in the #WhiteOut4Vets or for more information, log on to www.blairunlimited.com or email [email protected]. Since Veterans Day is only a few short weeks away, please order your shirt today. Let’s all say a unified "Thank you!" and White Out West Michigan on Veterans Day! Thank you for honoring and supporting our veterans.
