I love this piece. Was it:

  • 8 + 27 + 11 = 46?
  • 8 + 27 - 11 = 24?
  • 8 x 27 + 11 = 227?

A door of mystery and intrigue; how appropriate that it's so romantically contained!

Simple addition worked for me. August 27 falls on a Saturday this year, so perhaps it's a big day for the chalk artist. If so, let's just hope the ceremony isn't on this small platform.
