Begin your #MIAdventure in the lobby with Adventure Cycling Association, West Michigan Trails and Greenways, West Michigan Mountain Biking Association, Alger Bikes, Bike Law Michigan, GGRBC and Central District Cyclery and more. You'll get helpful information about creating your own bike packing experience. Learn how to build your own adventure bike, where to purchase supplies, get free maps and stickers and connect with this cool element of the cycling community.
At 6:30, join GGRBC for the first Opendoor Annual Meeting. We'll let you know how far we've come since GGRBC began the Room to Ride campaign and where we are going in 2016. We'll honor the biggest supporters and MVPs of 2016 and even hand out a door prize or two!
Then at 8pm, join us for the Lower Peninsula premier of Superior,a movie filmed entirely in the Upper Peninsula by writer, director and Michigander Edd Benda. This beautiful film depicts two friends on the bike adventure of a lifetime, and epic 1,300 mile tour around Lake Superior. Q&A with the director to follow. Superior premiered at the world famous Chinese Theatre in Hollywood and was an offical selection of the Dances With Films festival.
