On Sunday, October 1, The GAAH Press Club visited ArtPrize and each wrote a review of  a work of art that they found particularly interesting. The following is Leticia M's review of an artwork.

I saw "Metaphorest" and it was made by Todd Osborne, Phil Schuster, Tracy Van Duinen, and Andy Bellomo. It's shape is like a [sculpture], and there were a lot of different colors.  There was a face on the wall that people think is only staring on them.

I think it is art because there were a lot of people that did the big wall, and there is a big face in the wall.  The big face only stares, and I like the artwork.

GAAH Press Club

The GAAH Press Club, a program of the Cook Arts Center, provides youth in the Grandville Avenue neighborhood with the opportunity to find, develop and share their creative voices. Being a member of the Press Club not only empowers youth by helping them develop their sense of self but also encourages them to become creative problem solvers, enhance communication skills and increase their chances of continuing on to higher education. Through the Press Club, neighborhood youth can also raise awareness about local events and happenings that are important to members of the local community.
