On June 28, Eve (located at The B.O.B.) will host a benefit for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The event, called Sundress Social, is the second edition of their quarterly women’s night out event series. Twenty percent of admissions collected at the door will go towards Make-A-Wish Foundation. Eve sought them out and presented the proposal for the Sundress Social.
"We were fortunate enough to get their participation," Jason Ley, Eve general manager, said. "They seemed to really gravitate and be really attractive to it so they were happy to share their message with us for the event."
At the Sundress Social, Kelly Iris of Star 105.7 will host and mingle with the guests using her "on-air personality" according to Lye. DJ Jason Veeder, founder of Jawbreaker Music Group, will provide music. Vendors will set up stations with services or offerings for the guests. Vendors includes:
- A.K. Rikk's
- Gazelle Sports
- Bengtson Center For Aesthetics & Plastic Surgery
- Design 1 Salon Spa
- Aura Skincare & Cosmetics
- giLD the liLy
- Cascade Yoga Studio
- Body by Vi Challenge
- Slight Optical Boutique
Some of the vendors will have on-site demonstrations, like Design 1 who will be doing hair and make-up applications. A.K. Rikk's will also preview their summer sale, exclusively at Sundress Social with 50 percent off their selection of summer dresses and accessories.
Eve plans on having the event quarterly, each time changing the dress theme to fit the season. The Sundress Social is from 5:00 p.m. and goes until 9 p.m. Maximum capacity is 300 people.
The Sundress Social has a $10 ticket price at the door. The ticket price includes a "super food focused" buffet and a complimentary Stoli cocktail. Stoli will be giving away their new flavored cocktails Hot and Sticky, also known as jalapeño and honey. Along with the complimentary cocktail, Stoli will also have a representative on site doing a mini-mixology (lesson, presentation). The representative will show the guests how prepare the cocktails of their new flavors.
"And the jalapeño is tasty, trust me," Ley said.
