Contact:

Pitch:

A group of students at Grand Valley State University are putting on a fundraiser for "Coats for Kids" which is affiliated with Operation Warm. Their mission is to raise money and awareness for children that need warm clothes for the upcoming winter months.

Here is a link to their website: http://www.operationwarm.org/

The fundraiser they are putting on is a Harvest Walk. The event is on Saturday, October 25th at Johnson Park from 3:-6:30pm. The address is 2600 Wilson Ave. SW, Walker, MI 49534. Each family needs to donate $6 to participate and all the proceeds will go to Operation Warm (we ask for checks).

It will include:
-checkpoints manned by volunteers passing out candy
-a mini pumpkin scavenger hunt
-cider and donuts at a reserved picnic area

Please email Ashley Osborn for interviews or call her: (616)980-6588.
