Being a community-generated news source means The Rapidian is both greased and powered by Grand Rapidians. On the outset, the most obvious way to volunteer with The Rapidian is to contribute a piece. What if you don't have the time or your time comes in patches? There are other ways to pitch in as part of the Rapidian community. Here are a few suggestions:

GOT 10 MINUTES?

• If it’s the morning, slip on a Rapidian tee or pin on a Rapidian button
• Pack your camera for the day, snap some photos of peculiarities and fascinations around town and then add it to our photo bank
• Read a story on The Rapidian and...
  • share it on Facebook, Twitter, other social media outlets or by email
  • engage the author and community in conversation by leaving a comment

GOT AN HOUR?

• Who do you know who would really enjoy contributing to a cooperative like The Rapidian?
