• About:  Mark A. France is the owner of Sandstorm FX & Productions and Mark France Photography. Beginning his film career in 1993, Mark has worked on over forty-five feature length and short films, many of which have won awards at various film festivals. Though his forte is special effects make-up, Mark has also acted in numerous productions, directed several short films and given a number of seminars for stage and film make-up at local high schools and film festivals. Most recently, Mark was a part of the award winning Team With No Name production, "The Girl With Blue Eyes". He is presently supplying zombie effects for "The Last Broadcast" film series, heading up the make-up department for Faith Church's Easter production of "The Resurrection and the Life", as well as preparing to shoot his short film, "Love In Dead Places", in the Fall. When not on set, you can often find Mark behind the lens of his digital camera, snapping off nature and portrait shots, as well as photographing weddings and special events. Mark has been a festival judge for the Thriller! Chiller! Film Festival since it's inception in 2006. Mark lives in White Lake, MI, with his cherished feline, Oreo "Tater" Nabisco.
