School Bus Hijacking??
Kent Career Tech Center Hosts
Mock Critical Incident & Breakout Sessions
Criminal Justice students will work a bus hijacking scenario under the guidance of their instructors, joining with fellow health and IT students to solve the problem involved in the scenario. Students will take roles such as hijacker, law enforcement, EMT, communications/ dispatch and more. The scenario will give students a chance to use what they're learning in a way that mimics the real work of area professionals. The Tech Center students will be joined by criminal justice students from Muskegon Area Career Tech Center.
Prior to the mock critical incident, students will participate in workshops and team-building sessions to test their critical thinking, leadership, teamwork, and problem solving abilities. The mock critical incident will be a chance for the students to work together on a close to real life incident.
