Upcoming Events Open to All
Grand Rapids, Mich. – August 21, 2012 – River City Scholars Charter Academy, a new tuition-free public charter school operated by leading charter school management company National Heritage Academies (NHA), will host two upcoming events for the local community.
On Saturday, August 25th from 12:30-2:30 p.m., the school is hosting a back-to-school bash inviting families to visit the school for lunch, activities for kids, and free school supplies. Staff members will be on-hand to answer questions about the school and assist with school registration. On Monday, August 27th from 4:00-7:00 p.m., the school is hosting a community open house. Families will have a chance to tour the new school and meet with school staff.
The school, located at 944 Evergreen Street, will open with capacity to serve approximately 500 students in Young Five Kindergarten – 5th grade and will add one grade per year through the 8th grade, eventually serving more than 700 students.
