Pitch:
In Memory Of A Rosebud
A rosebud grew in a garden bed
The youth of its green surrounded the red.
The most beautiful bud that was to be found
Which drew its life from beneath the ground.

All of the flowers beamed with pride
At the new bud growing by their side.
They knew that in the coming hours
The bud would become a marvelous flower..

But then suddenly the flowers watched in dismay
As the little bud began to decay
The life within it ebbed away
They knew it was not there to stay.

And when it was over, there was no doubt
That a terrible tragedy had come about.
For the bud had died so young and green
That the life of a flower would never be seen.
