Local Dodgeball Team Competes for National Glory

At the end of August, local qualifiers were held across the coutnry for Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Park (www.skyzone.com )'s Ultimate Dodgeball Tournament.After winning both their local qualifier, the Grand Valley Dodgeball Team was selected through a Facebook competition as one of eight teams out of 450 to go to Las Vegas next weekend and compete for the national title and $50,000 in cash prizes. The team typically plays traditional dodgeball, but they wanted to try a new type of dodgeball, which led them to enter into Sky Zone’s tournament.
Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Park (www.skyzone.com ), an all-walled trampoline playing court will be hosting a local qualifier for this year’s national Ultimate Dodgeball Championship (www.udodgeball.com). The sport takes a classic childhood pastime and adds trampolines for a high flying, flipping extreme sport unlike any other.
