Local Company Launches Product to "Arrest" Bad Breath

Everyone has had to deal with, ahem, bad breath at one time or another. Solutions such as brushing teeth, swishing mouth wash, popping mints or chewing gum may help in the short term but always seem to fail in the long run. A local company claims to have found the solution: Breath Arrest(TM), a two-ounce, two-serving bottle composed of a "proprietary blend" of healthy, natural ingredients.
Breath Arrest professes to eliminate bad breath odors where they originate -- in the esophageal tract. It "neutralizes all odors" normally emanating from the stomach and renders the user's breath virtually odorless. Breath Arrest's CEO Walter Monroe says it eliminates all sorts of bad breath including that caused by spicy foods such as garlic, onion, curries and peppers; plus alcohol, coffee, tobacco; and so-called "morning" breath.
In explaining how Breath Arrest works, Monroe cites the cause of bad breath -- bacteria. "It is the #1 cause of breath odor. The human mouth is a breeding ground for bacteria growth and Breath Arrest works because it removes the odors caused by bacteria on contact. In the stomach," Monroe continues, "food is broken down by acids, which cause more odors to escape through the upper intestinal tract and the mouth. A smelly burp is the best example of this activity."
Breath Arrest is not a mint or any other type of breath "freshener," It is a liquid that the user swallows not just swishes and spits out; it coats the inner mouth, throat, esophagaeal tract and stomach. Thus, according to Monroe, odor causing bacteria are eliminated from the mouth down through the stomach. Also, because it is a liquid, Breath Arrest is absorbed into the blood stream where it continues to cleanse the blood stream and by the time the blood passes through the lungs, one's breath is odorless, lasting for hours. "So," Monroe says, "no matter what one has eaten, drank, chewed, smoked or inhaled, one's breath will feel fresh and be absolutely odorless."
