Grand Rapids…Artist Christina Zuniga is presenting an art exhibition titled, “INPUT: The First Year”. This
 
exhibition of painting and photography, explores the artist’s first year of motherhood.
 
As a new mother, Christina uses photography to document iconic moments of her child’s first year of
 
life. The artist presents her experience as a first time parent in a creative way by layering paint and
 
photographic image together. Her series of large mixed media images examines the world all over again
 
as her daughter grows into toddlerhood.
 
Christina Zuniga was born in west Michigan and is a resident of East Grand Rapids. She is a graduate of
 
Kendall College of Art and Design. She currently works as a featured artist at Gas Light Village’s, Brush
 
Opening reception is on December 3rd at 7:30PM-9:30PM at Pub 43, located at 43 Division Ave, Grand
 
Rapids. This art exhibition is free and open to the public throughout the month of December.
