Would you like to try yoga but you're intimidated by those pretzel-like positions you see in magazines? You really don't have to tie yourself in knots to do yoga. Chair Yoga might be for you.
A safe and supportive class, you will gently move your body using a chair to help cultivate flexibility, strength and balance. The chair serves to assist in seated movements and acts as a tool to help with standing and balancing poses.
Deep breathing and rest will be woven throughout. No need to be self-conscious. This program is for those of you who would like to know more about yoga but are reluctant to go to a general class. And you just might decide to stick with Chair Yoga.
