Title: Small Business GPS: Financial Awareness Cluster
Location: GROW, 25 Sheldon Blvd SE, Ste. 210, Grand Rapids, MI  49503
Description of event: Sponsored by State Farm Insurance. Financial Awareness Cluster begins June 6; one of three clusters in GROW's Small Business Growth and Planning Series (Small Business GPS). Income Statement/Balance Sheet/Breakeven Analysis (6/6), Financial Anlaysis 101 (6/13), and Financing Options (6/20). Small Business GPS is designed to provide participants the information and resources to write a business plan. Cost $60-$70 for the 3-part course. Title: Start Smart 1 and 2

Description of event: A two-part course that allows participants to assess their business readiness and helps participants understand what it takes to run their own business. Course will identify personal attributes, obstacles, and support systems that help/hinder them as they start their own business. Determine profit margins, start-up costs, monthly expenses, and apply it to a business idea. Prerequisite: Intro to GROW. Cost: $50-$60 for the 2-part course. Title: Improve your Emotional Intelligence to Improve your Bottom Line
