The Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) has presented Everest Institute – Grand Rapids and Everest Institute –Kalamazoo with the 2012-2013 ACCSC School of Distinction Award. The ACCSC, an organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as an authority on educational standards, noted Everest Institute – Grand Rapids and Everest Institute – Kalamazoo’s dedication to the expectations and rigors of accreditation, as well as a commitment to delivering quality education programs. A total of 21 schools were named by ACCSC as "Schools of Distinction.”

“The faculty, staff and students work very hard to make the campuses a place where quality education leads to successful careers,” said Ken Sigmon, regional vice president of Everest Institute. “This recognition from the ACCSC is a highly regarded stamp of approval from this leader in career education.”

Everest Institute – Grand Rapids prepares students for success in a variety of in-demand careers, including dental assistant, massage therapy, medical assistant, practical nursing and more.

Everest Institute – Kalamazoo prepares students for success in a variety of in-demand careers, including business accounting, dental assistant, massage therapy, medical assistant, pharmacy technician and more.

As Schools of Distinction, Everest Institute – Grand Rapids and Everest Institute - Kalamazoo will be honored during the 2013 Professional Development Conference, which runs Sept. 11-13 at the Gaylord National Hotel in Washington, D.C.
