Two Bars. One Kitchen. Nine Artists.
Rockwell's and Republic, located next door to the lovely Pub 43, share a kitchen but differ greatly in atmosphere. While Republic exudes a sort of sophisticated air, Rockwell's has the feel of an old fashioned pub.
Republic draws more of a swanky crowd and doesn't open until after 5 p.m. Both restaurants offer a wide variety of meal options but little catering towards the vegetarian or vegan type.
The ArtPrize you'll see
The building that houses these two venues, 45 South Division, will feature the work of Michael LaCroix, who has created "Light Dance," a series of bent neon tubes depicting humans dancing that will be mounted on the outside of the building.
The remaining art will be two-dimensional pieces created by Erin Hines, Mary Westrate, Paul Pelon IV, and vintage barbie portraits by Angie Ruff.
Rockwell's will host four artists.
