There will be a Benefit Silent Art Auction on Friday, April 27 in the EAST LOBBY of the Calvin College COVENANT FINE ARTS CENTER.  The silent auction will open at 6:30 p.m. and close at 9:00 p.m.  Janis Carpenter, Ada Christian School’s Special Education teacher, donated over 100 beautifully painted watercolor pieces to jointly raise funds for Kabala Christian School in Sierra Leone, West Africa and CLC Network—two causes near to her heart.  Profits from the sale will benefit the solar power installation and secondary education training in Kabala Christian School and CLC Network special education services for those with disabilities in local faith-based schools in West Michigan. Guests will browse and bid on artwork while nibbling on hors d'oeuvres and listening to melodies of live musicians.
