Join Van Andel Institute for an evening of live entertainment and delectable menu items from some of Grand Rapids’ finest restaurants. Those in attendance can also participate in a live auction featuring restaurant and personal chef gift packages. All proceeds from Winterfest directly benefit Parkinson’s disease research at Van Andel Institute. Winterfest is one of Grand Rapids’ largest Parkinson’s disease fundraisers. Since its inception the event has raised more than $850,000 and is on track to surpass the $1 million mark in 2015. This year’s Title Sponsor is Warner, Norcross and Judd Attorneys at Law. Event Co-Chairs are Blair and George Sharpe Jr., owners of the Sharpe Collection luxury automotive dealership in Grand Rapids.
Restaurants participating in this year’s Winterfest include: Cygnus27, The Chop House, CitySÄ“n Lounge, Six.One.Six, San Chez - A Tapas Bistro, Twisted Rooster, Desserts by Lori and Furniture City Creamery. The event features a strolling dinner format, giving guests the opportunity to sample a variety of menu items while mingling and networking. Members of Van Andel Research Institute’s Center for Neurodegenerative Science will discuss their groundbreaking Parkinson’s disease research initiatives during the event.
