Marco Riolo took a moment at the Local First Street Party to stop and talk to us about why he thinks it's so important to help people reconnect with their creative selves.

We build community when we share our stories - whether they be a memory, an experience or just simply telling what we think is great about this place. STORY MATTERS. is a story collecting project from The Rapidian and GRTV.

The Rapidian's story fort made an appearance at Local First's annual Street Party in downtown Grand Rapids on Saturday, June 7. Marco Riolo was there as well, drawing with chalk all over the place and helping others, from toddlers to retirees, join in the fun. He took a moment to stop and talk to us about why he thinks it's so important to help people reconnect with their creative selves.
