Shawn Colvin’s frank folk infused with humor and sensuality has won her four Grammy awards and seven more nominations. In 1998 her album A Few Small Repairs catapulted her to the top of the charts with the single “Sunny Came Home,” which earned her Grammy awards for both song and record of the year. A storyteller in the folk tradition, Colvin is known for her imaginative repertoire of cover songs, delicate guitar work, unique melodies and her intimate, emotional original works.
