Remembering The Great Daryl Nathan by Corey Ruffin
The entire Grand Rapids Community Media Center family is greatly saddened to hear of the recent passing of local legend The Great Daryl Nathan, one of the true spirits of GRTV in the late 1990s.
When the news of The Great Daryl Nathan's untimely passing broke on Tuesday, multidisciplinary local artist Corey Ruffin worked quickly to capture some of his most vivid and fondest memories of him in the comic below. Ruffin was a volunteer camera person for many of Nathan's shows, and had a rare first-hand look at how they were made.
Corey Ruffin is a caricaturist, musician and stage performer based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He is currently traveling the great American West.
