Queens Park Rangers (QPR) claimed their first away points of the Premier League by beating Sunderland at the Stadium Light on 10th February, 2015. QPR defender, Rio Ferdinand admitted that QPR’s win against Sunderland has come out as a relief for the team after a disappointing start of the season.

With the most trophy-laden careers in the Manchester United’s illustrious history, Ferdinand has surely proved as an inspiration and mentor for younger members of the QPR team. QPR win proves that Rio is far from finished at the top level. QPR victory was important, especially for the fans and for boosting team confidence. This winning match for QPR lifted the club out of the bottom three rankings. The first ever triumph – in the Premier League nearly after two years – has been achieved thanks to goals from Leroy Fer and Bobby Zamora. The stupendous save from Robert Green was just impressive and surprising for all.

Ferdinand, with most successful chapter of United’s history, has said that his ability of being flexible will prove an advantage at times in this season. He admitted that he is happy playing with QPR. It seems that the six changes made by QPR boss Chris Ramsey have proved to be a blessing for the club. Ferdinand, the best of his generation, once again with impressive form helped marshal the Rangers to a first shutout of the season.

When he joined the QPR club leaving the Manchester United and England, Ferdinand said that he will change his mindset and form too. Former England centre-back is thriving on to keep QPR ahead in the Premier League. His vision for the League is to survive first and then win the season. Ferdinand is trying to adjust his mindset – after a fantabulous partnership with Manchester United – and he is trying to help others around him with his deterministic behaviour. He is enjoying his responsibility at QPR and his experience and adaptability will be crucial in helping youngsters to develop their winning vision. In this match, Ferdinand, who has been recently hired as an ambassador for the live online casino gambling company, Casino Floor, has showed that he has the ability to play at the top level.

Ferdinand, the 35-years old Premier Footballer, admits that QPR had tough start at the season due to two loses, each against Hull City club and Tottenham Hotspur club. However, the QPR club is now in a good situation, which may help it to win away the Premier League title.
