Poetry of the U.P.

Thursday, August 13, 2015

6:30 - 8:30 pm

Great Lakes Commonwealth of Letters

758 Wealthy St SE
Grand Rapids MI 49503

The beauty and the isolation of Michigan's Upper Peninsula inspires art of all kinds. Join us with four U.P. poets to hear them read their work and discuss the unique atmosphere of the U.P. and how it impacts their writing. Julie Brooks Barbour, Janeen Rastall, Tim Gort, and Gina Gort will make the trek down to Grand Rapids to read their work here at GLCL. This event is free and everyone is welcome! We look forward to seeing you!

Parking is easy in Uptown. We have our own parking lot, two driveways in back of our building, off of Eastern. There are free city lots one block west, also.

Event Type: Arts-Entertainment
