Challenging conversations shape local arts community

The West Michigan arts community comes together for a day of conversation regarding what it means to be a creative in 2017 on Saturday, February 25 at "Break it Down | Make it Better."

Members of the media were invited to tour two new exhibits at the Grand Rapids Art Museum on Friday, February 3.

In what has been a Governorship bathed in mismanagement, scandal and decisions that have disparately affected our most vulnerable residents – today the Michigan Governor will need to deliver a State of the State that reads like the apology that never happed for victims of this administration.

A year ago we rebooted the show with a new cast of hosts and producers. Today we look back at 2016 and look forward to the new year with Team Catalyst. Aired 2016-12-30.

The Grand Rapids African-American Museum and Archives holds its Royal Opening on December 26. Food, music, and an official ribbon-cutting will be followed by a Kwanzaa ceremony.

One therapy dog and her owner bring smiles and hope to difficult situations through their volunteer work.
