And Supports Local Charity
Bringing Laughter To Mel Trotter Ministries
Dallas, TX ~ His humorous jokes and hilarious observations have landed him on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Comedy Central, The Jimmy Kimmel Show, The Late, Late Show, BET's "Comic View", Comedy TV and numerous other television shows. Now the award winning stand- up comedian will be performing his distinct, hilarious, clean comedy in Grand Rapids. Michael Jr. will continue his national Stand-Up and Give comedy tour on September 23rd at Calvary Church.
Both on and off stage, Michael's humanitarian efforts take center stage. While in Grand Rapids he will visit Mel Trotter Ministries to perform a private comedy show. Founded in 1900, Mel Trotter Ministries was established by Mel Trotter to serve the needy across Western Michigan.

As part of Michael's ongoing quest to bring laughter to those who need it most, in each city he visits, Michael will collaborate with a local chosen nonprofit charity that makes a difference in that community, bringing the laughs to those in homeless shelters, recovery and rehabilitation centers across the nation. Michael's Stand-Up and Give comedy tour will support these organizations in identifying the immediate needs to families and individuals with emergency food, housing, utility assistance, and other temporal needs.

About Michael Jr.: Comedian George Wallace offered Michael Jr. his first break when he took him to the legendary Comedy & Magic Club in Hermosa Beach, home of Jay Leno and The Tonight Show staff. The club’s owner slipped Michael onstage…and a week later Michael was performing at the Just for Laughs comedy festival in Montreal, where he became the first comedian to ever appear live via satellite on The Tonight Show. That performance catapulted Michael’s career and has resulted in additional appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Comedy Central, TV One, The Late, Late Show, BET, Jimmy Kimmel Live, SiTV, and Comedy TV. His clean comedy has earned him national crossover appeal giving him a platform on both church and comedy club stages.
