The time has come: the last Sunday of the month. Three proposals were up for Sunday Soup #12, although only Ribbons of Song (this round's recipient) and Grand Rapids Comic Society presented. The potluck-minigrant event started at 6 p.m. and lasted for about an hour. Just like previous installments, attendees chip in $5 each for a bowl of soup and a vote to determine which applicant will receive all the funds - pooled from the admission fee - of the event.
Special guests from the Rapid Revolution were on hand, and there was cake to commemorate both Sunday Soup's first birthday as well as that of Sunday Soup co-organizer and Division Avenue Arts Collective co-founder George Wietor.
