Pitch:

The world of business will overlap with community at LINC's first networking event of the summer. The Business LINC on June 1st, 2012 will bring together the business world's movers and shakers, and give community leaders at all levels a chance to connect.

Members of the Grand Rapids Black Chamber of Commerce will have a chance to converse with colleagues from the West Michigan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for the first time in the same space. Leaders from LINC, GROW, MI-SBTDC and other entities will also be in attendance, continuing the positive networking that these “First Friday" events are known for.

The meet and greet begins at 4pm and will be followed by a jazz reception. Participating organizations will have a chance to discuss their work and begin dialogue on future collaborations to increase impact in the local business community. Each organization will also host a table with information and resources for aspiring entrepreneurs.

This event is part of the "First Friday" networking events designed to give community leaders a chance to engage, bridge gaps and foster partnerships between local organizations. With this event, LINC is pulling together community leaders and business power brokers to give rise to collaborations and connections that will ensure our communities will continue growing in dynamic ways.

The event will be held in the LINC Development Center, 1167 Madison Ave SE.
