Although Jews, Christians and Muslims worship the same God, they understand Him in different ways.  Islam, a religious faith which started in the 7th Century, is considered to be the world fastest growing religions.  Why is Muhammad central to Islam?  What is the Qur’an?  What is the true meaning of Jihad? What are the tenets of the Islamic faith? What is the Catholic Church’s stand on Islam?  Fr. Kane is a leader in interfaith dialogue and Director of Ecumenical and Interreligious Affairs at the Diocese of Albany, New York.
