Have you ever wondered what it is like to live with voices in your head? Why there is such diversity of belief within Hinduism? Or how it feels to grow up as female but know deep inside that you are really male? Stop by and borrow a variety of “human books” - people representing multiple areas of diversity who have volunteered to tell their personal story. The Human Library gives you the unique opportunity to interact and engage in thought-provoking dialogue with individuals whose lives have often been stereotyped or misunderstood. 15 human books will be available including a Hindu, a Muslim, a refugee, a transgender person, a same sex couple, a blind person, a deaf person, a Spiritual Intuitive, a person living with early onset dementia and her spouse, and a person living with mental illness.

Event Type: Meetings
