The Second Annual GPNA Yard Sale will be taking place June 16, 2012.
Anyone can rent a space for $25 or stop by during the day to find a great deal. There will be food for purchase and a great time in the park. Come join us!
This is a fund raising event for GPNA to help support our neighborhood improvement initiatives. This includes crime prevention and education, housing code compliance, neighborhood clean-up,
graffiti removal, and many neighborhood events such as the Annual Easter Egg Hunt and National Night Out.

GPNA is a neighborhood organization whose purpose is to preserve and improve the unique human and physical characteristics of the neighborhood through resident involvement. We are “Building a Better Community”. GPNA includes the area bounded by the U.S. 131 Expressway on the west, Cottage Grove on the north, Eastern Avenue on the east, and 28th Street on the south. Population Served
The Garfield Park community is undoubtedly considered the melting pot of Grand Rapids with diversity as a distinguishing mark. With a population of roughly 17,883, the community is comprised of approximately thirty percent African Americans, thirty percent Caucasians, and thirty percent Hispanic with the Hispanic population on the rise. The district is bound by Cottage Grove Street to the north, 28th Street to the south, US-131 to the west, and Eastern Avenue to the east.
