Want to explore the past but don’t want to feel overwhelmed? Join a memoir-writing workshop on Wednesday, November 18, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, led by award-winning author and memoirist Anne-Marie Oomen.
Using the five senses, Anne-Marie will guide you through a sensory approach to writing the life story and developing a structure for memoir writing. Enjoy this clear and direct way to zero in on the essence of your memories, to bring to the surface meanings you didn't know were there, and to enter the world of your past with grace as well as practical strategies. For all ages and walks of life, life writing (memoir) is a rewarding project and a promising step toward legacy writing. Bring notebooks and pens, laptops if you have one (recommended but not required), and your willing heart.
