Ronald and Nancy Reagan, played by historians and artists William and Sue Wills, will share stories about their lives together during a performance on Thursday, May 19, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Covenant Village of the Great Lakes, located at 2510 Lake Michigan Drive N.W., Grand Rapids, Mich.

The actors will use dialects, emotions and costumes to dramatize the strengths, weaknesses, failures and triumphs of this revered First Couple. At 69, Reagan was the oldest person elected president of the U.S. and the oldest president at the time of inauguration. In his first term he survived an assassination attempt, escalated the War on Drugs, and fought public-sector labor. His wife, Nancy, began her "Just Say No" campaign against drugs.

According to the veteran acting/writing team, they have brought to life the stories of 34 different presidential couples and appeared together on stage over 8,700 times.

The free performance is open to the public and reservations are required. For more information or to reserve a spot, please visit www.CovenantGreatLakes.org or call (877) 812-8745.
