Join us at the Cook Arts Center as we introduce the community to the "Who, What and Why" of community journalism in Grand Rapids and your local platform: The Rapidian! Now more than ever, it's important to come together and let your voice be heard on our platform.
Come with your ideas, thoughts and questions regarding what issues matter most to you in the city. We aim to provide our readers and writers with the tools to craft their own stories and publish on The Rapidian. Be ready to learn the nuts and bolts of writing and reporting in citizen media. We will be going in-depth about community journalism, news and storytelling and publishing on the website.
Whether you are new to the process or a regular contributor, this will be an opportunity to learn about the process at The Rapidian and to connect with other citizen journalists and members of the media.
