On April 24 and 25, local painter Chris Stoffel Overvoorde will hold an art sale to benefit Feeding America West Michigan Food Bank. One third of all sales will be donated to the organization. Overvoorde’s drawings, watercolors, and oil paintings have been shown at the Grand Rapids Art Museum, the University of South Carolina, the White House and many other venues. Prices range from $40 to $4,000.
The sale will take place from 3 to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 24, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, at 2317 Delange Drive SE in Grand Rapids.

I had heard about this art sale but failed to attend it and I am sure this was a huge success. I hope to attend such art exhibits if there are any in the future.
