The goal of this fundraising event is to bring the community together for regional author readings, sampling of root beer from a local brewery, and raising money for GLCL. Books & (Root)Beers is part of GLCL’s Annual Fund Drive for 2016, a campaign designed to encourage donations to GLCL for recruiting and hiring an Executive Director, expanding programming and outreach, and providing visiting writers with an honorarium and travel expenses. Authors Bonnie Jo Campbell, Caitlin Horrocks, W. Todd Kaneko, and Adam Schuitema will be here to read from and sign purchased books. Snacks from The Winchester and Donkey Taqueria; and root beer brewed by Schmohz Brewing! More info HERE.
