Artwork in the New Helen DeVos Children's Hospital to be Previewed

A Rapidian reporter is invited to see the progress of a major tile mosaic in the lobby of the new Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 24.
Art Prize winners Tracy VanDuinen and Todd Osborne will be installing a mosaic using art produced by kids at art-making workshops held at LaFontsee Galleries. Once complete, the brightly colored tiles and mirrors will depict joyful and inspirational scenes of childhood.
Flat shoes and pants versus skirts are recommended for the work site. Please meet in the main lobby of Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital to attend the preview.
