The Harris Building, which splits its unit between The Local Epicurean, flexible offices and event space, offers visitors handmade pasta, artisan chocolate and art with an emphasis on natural elements.
On most days, The Local Epicurean offers organic pastas, artisan chocolates and classes to instruct patrons in the ancient Roman technique of pasta making. During ArtPrize, they still sell their fair share of items but the newly decorated Harris Building features exhibitions with other organic subjects such as wildlife, still life and live art displays.
"1001 Coffee Cup Stories" welcomes visitors to the open space with painted prose on every consumed cup-of-joe. "A River Runs Through It" shares a brilliant autumn portrait and "Animals" take over the opposite wall. In the basement, "Your Move" (a live display) answers chess moves and "Fiori" offers copper flowers to guests - just to name a few.
The Harris Building is located at 111 South Division.
