Comprehensive Therapy Center is blowing off some STEAM this fall with the launch of our newest program, Learning Labs: Full STEAM Ahead! This program is designed to introduce 2-5 years olds to the concepts of STEAM, (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) and to enrich communication, motor, and cognitive skills.

During this 4 week program, children will investigate, collaborate, communicate, problem solve, and use creativity and critical thinking skills, as they explore STEAM through fun activities tailored towards the preschool age group.

Five reasons to go Full STEAM Ahead:

#1 Encourages independent and critical thinking

STEAM challenges children to think outside the box, look at things from different angles, and tackle challenges.

#2 Practice Communication

STEAM learning involves a lot of projects, usually in group settings. This helps children improve their communication skills, dividing tasks and teamwork.

#3: It's fun!

STEAM learning involves a lot of hands-on projects that keep children engaged while they learn.

#4: Technological Literacy

We use technology every single day and that isn't about to change. STEAM learning encourages the use of technology, preparing children to be able to adapt to new tools as they come out.

#5: To be well rounded

With the inclusion of the arts, STEAM education teaches skills from several different avenues.

BONUS

#6: Early access to STEAM builds excitement and interest in to the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics and can creat life long learners!
