Anat Cohen’s expressive worldbeat-infused work as a clarinetist and saxophonist have earned her respect throughout the world. She has been voted Clarinetist of the Year for 8 years in a row by the Jazz Journalists Association. In March 2015 Cohen released her seventh record on her own label Anzic Records. Luminosa showcases Cohen’s world beat influences spanning from Afro-Cuban, Argentinean, Klezmer to Brazilian choro.
