2009 Gazelle Sports Bridge Run

Underwriting support from:

At last Sunday's 2009 Gazelle Sports Bridge Run, runners followed scenic 5K and 10-mile routes along the Grand River and across several downtown bridges.  In the morning sunlight, observant athletes got early glimpses of ArtPrize entries dotting the course, in various stages of installation.  This 8th annual event ended where it began, at Rosa Parks Circle, where an all-organic food station provided by Harvest Health Foods helped finishers replenish their energy stores.

The official 2009 Gazelle Sports Bridge Run website can be found at, while official race results can be viewed at this page.

This video includes short clips from before, during, and after this year's Bridge Run.

I love that video Rickey, good work! Are you ever going to turn the race yourself?

Yeah, I'll probably run it next year. 10 miles is a bit longer than I've raced before, but it's a nice intermediate distance to work my lazy bones up to.
