The CompRUNew: Race for Zero Waste is a family-friendly event held on World Clean-up Day to help tidy our local neighborhoods. We are inviting you to join us at Garfield Park in Grand Rapids, MI and run/walk a mapped route through the Madison area and parts of Oakdale to pick up litter near the sidewalks. Each runner will be equipped with gloves, a trash bag, and a recycle bag to collect waste along the route. Prizes will be awarded to runners that complete our Trash to Treasure Scavenger Hunt and a special gift will be awarded to the runner with the most unique trash find!

9:00 AM -10:00 AM: Register, pick up t-shirts, meet our sponsor booths
10:00 AM: Race start time
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Dispose of litter, announce prize winners, meet with our sponsor booths
