“Make Every Click Count” with Technology Expert and Author Abby Stokes

Thursday, March 26, 2015

11:00 a.m.

Personal computers have become virtual storage centers for documents, photos and other personal information. Technology expert and best-selling author Abby Stokes will share tips to keep these storage centers organized and safe when she presents “Make Every Click Count,” on Thursday, March 26, at 11 a.m. The presentation will take place at Covenant Village of the Great Lakes, a faith-based, not-for-profit continuing care retirement community administered by Covenant Retirement Communities.

With our lives so busy no one can spare time to search the computer for a lost photo or document. Stokes will show guests how to organize and simplify computer files, and how to protect their privacy and computer data. She will also teach guests how to use their voice and their mouse to make a difference in their communities and beyond.

Author of “Is This Thing On? A Computer Handbook for Late Bloomers, Technophobes and the Kicking & Screaming,” Stokes has helped more than a quarter of a million people understand and navigate the latest technology, including the Internet, computers, tablets, smartphones and email.

The free lecture is open to the public and seating is limited. To register, or for more information, please visit www.CovenantGreatLakes.org or call (877) 812-8745.
