Even though Grand Rapids is a small city, it has many famous places, for example, the Calder, Cook Arts Center, and Grand Rapids Public Library. Grand Rapids used to be known for furniture, but now Festival is the new "thang."
"Grand Rapids is where I live," says Gilberto. "Grand Rapids has awesome public schools and lots of attracting places, like Robinette's, theatres, libraries, fun carnivals and games like Craig's Cruisers and Chuck E. Cheese. I think Grand Rapids needs an aquarium though."
Following the group report, each member of the Press Club also wanted to share what they as individuals find important about the city they live in.
I like to live in Grand Rapids because I have a lot of memories in the city. Like going to water parks, Art Prize, and movies. Also the soccer practice is in the city. And I like to eat the closest and my favorite [restaurant] (McDonalds). And my house is in GR.
What I love living in Grand Rapids is that in the summer they have the best lakes ever. My family and I love going to Mackinac Island to go bike riding. There's awesome things to know about the history here. I love living in Grand Rapids.
