In case you didn’t know, we have been celebrating National Farmers Market Week (NFMW) all week long, and this Saturday concludes our Market celebrations. This years’ focus was on three important aspects of farmers markets; they are essential; they serve as community hubs and; the culture of farmers markets is changing. The last year presented a lot of challenges to our small nonprofit market, but we came out stronger than ever. That is why we can say that this years’ NFMW focus is something we stand by. When grocery stores were struck with shortages, our dedicated vendors provided you the essential food products you needed. In a time of socially distanced interactions, the Market provided a space to make connections in a safe environment. Social tensions continue to grow throughout the country, but at the Market, we can all feel human. We’ve worked hard to create a place where all feel welcome. So please join us this Saturday and come see what the Market is really about; creating community.

If you are wondering WHO will be at the market, look at our ROLL CALL on our Facebook or Instagram! The market is open for Main Season on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday 8AM-2PM now through October 29, 2021.
