Join the community in support of local businesses at the Wealthy Theatre on November 7 for the annual Neighborhood Business Awards.

This year marks the 24th year of the awards ceremony presented by Neighborhood Ventures and The Neighborhood Business Alliance.

A reception from 5-6:30 p.m. will allow time for people to network while enjoying hors d'oeuvres from six different neighborhoods.

From 6:30-8 p.m., Mayor Heartwell will preside over the presentation of awards ceremony.

Categories are as follows:

  • Outstanding new business
  • Best longstanding business
  • Best interior renovation
  • Best exterior renovation
  • Best reuse of a building
  • Best neighborhood restaurant
  • Best window display
  • Good neighbor award
  • Best new construction
  • Best exterior maintenance
  • Best neighborhood pint
  • Best promotion

The public is welcome to attend, free of charge. No RSVP necessary.
