Join the community in support of local businesses at the Wealthy Theatre on November 7 for the annual Neighborhood Business Awards.
This year marks the 24th year of the awards ceremony presented by Neighborhood Ventures and The Neighborhood Business Alliance.
A reception from 5-6:30 p.m. will allow time for people to network while enjoying hors d'oeuvres from six different neighborhoods.
From 6:30-8 p.m., Mayor Heartwell will preside over the presentation of awards ceremony.
Categories are as follows:
- Outstanding new business
- Best longstanding business
- Best interior renovation
- Best exterior renovation
- Best reuse of a building
- Best neighborhood restaurant
- Best window display
- Good neighbor award
- Best new construction
- Best exterior maintenance
- Best neighborhood pint
- Best promotion
The public is welcome to attend, free of charge. No RSVP necessary.
