Story Matters: Tim Milton compares east side of state to West Michigan

This dispatch was added by one of our Nonprofit Neighbors. It does not represent the editorial voice of The Rapidian or Community Media Center.

Tim Milton sat down and talked to us while he was at Ah Nab Awen Park and talked to The Rapidian about what he likes about living here after growing up on the east side of the state.

We build community when we share our stories - whether they be a memory, an experience or just simply telling what we think is great about this place. While at various ArtPrize venues throughout the event, The Rapidian's Story Matters project asked several local citizens to share their stories. STORY MATTERS. is a story collecting project from The Rapidian and GRTV.

Tim Milton, who grew up on the east side of the state, talks about what he loves about living here. He also recounts a story of losing his then-12-year-old son in the middle of the B.O.B. while visiting ArtPrize, and why they still like bringing their kids down to experience the event.

You can see all the Story Matters videos archived at therapidian.org/placematters/story.
